Cafe Du Cycliste Cecile Bib Short Men

Cecile is Café du Cycliste’s brushed bib short — built for going fast when the air is cool. The fabric is a newly developed Italian brushed blend derived from ski race suits, so it holds warmth against the muscle during hard efforts without restricting how you move in and out of the saddle. Underneath sits a premium Italian Elastic Interface® chamois built from four foam densities.

It belongs to the Race line, cut to a close performance fit for riders who care about efficiency more than coverage. Café du Cycliste rates it from 14°C to 24°C — and suggests pairing it with knee or leg warmers at the start of a cold ride.

Four-density Italian pad

A proprietary bio-based foam chamois that is thicker exactly where pressure builds, faced with Eco Graphene fabric. Built by Elastic Interface® in Italy for long, hard efforts.

Brushed Italian fabric

A brushed blend developed from ski-race suits. The raised inner face traps a thin layer of warm air against the leg while the outer face stays smooth and fast.

Embossed elastic straps

Wide, soft elastic straps spread the load across the shoulders so nothing digs in, and carry discreet Café du Cycliste detailing. A mesh back panel keeps the core ventilated.

Wide leg gripper

A broad gripper band holds the leg in place without pinching the thigh, so the hem stays put through long seated efforts and out-of-the-saddle climbs.

When to wear it here

Be clear-eyed about this one: the Cecile is a cool-weather bib short, rated 14–24°C. That is not a Dubai summer garment. What it is very good at:

• UAE winter dawn rides — December to February starts at Al Qudra or Nad Al Sheba regularly sit in the mid-teens before sunrise, right in this short’s window.
• Early starts on Jebel Jais and Jebel Hafeet, where altitude and the descent take the temperature well below what you left home in.
• Travel and training camps — European spring and autumn, or a Girona / Alps block, where a summer bib leaves you cold on descents.
• Air-conditioned indoor blocks where the fan keeps the legs cooler than the effort suggests.

Measure yourself and match to the table — these are body measurements in centimetres, not garment measurements.

This is a performance fit — cut close to the body, second-skin, by design. It should feel snug standing up and correct once you are on the bike. If your waist and hips point to different sizes, go with the waist.
