The Teammachine R 01 is the fastest road bike BMC has built — an aero race platform developed with Red Bull Advanced Technologies, with the Halo fork, Aerocore frame shaping and the low-stack ICS Aero Gen 2 cockpit all designed as one system.

This listing is the build-to-order version. You take the 01 Premium Carbon frameset and we build it with the groupset and wheels you choose — Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, SRAM Red AXS, DT/BMC CR 50, Zipp 303, Farsports, or a wheelset you already own. Several combinations are configured below; anything else, message us and we will price it.

Riders who want the fastest frame BMC makes and want a say in how it is built — a specific crank length, a power meter on the side you prefer, a wheelset you already ride, or a groupset you are loyal to. What makes it fast

Halo fork & ICS Aero cockpit

The ultra-wide Halo fork and the low-stack ICS Aero Gen 2 one-piece cockpit were designed as one system with Red Bull Advanced Technologies. Air leaves the front wheel and stays attached to the frame instead of tumbling off it.

Aerocore Design

Down tube and seat tube shaped around two superlight carbon bottle cages, supplied with the frameset. The bike is measurably faster with the bottles in than with them out.

All-aero seatpost, dropped stays

A fully aero-profiled seatpost and dropped seat stays keep the rear of the bike clean while leaving enough vertical flex to survive a long day on rough tarmac. Clearance for a 30 mm measured tyre.

Sizing

BMC builds the Teammachine R 01 in six sizes. The rider-height bands in the table below are BMC’s own guide — they are a starting point, not a rule. Because this bike is built for you, the stem length and bar width can be changed at the point of order at no extra cost, which is something you cannot do with an off-the-shelf bike.
