Bmc Teammachine Slr 01 Five – Sram Force

The Teammachine SLR 01 FIVE is BMC’s Gen 5 climbing race platform with the build most riders would actually choose: a full SRAM Force AXS 2×12 wireless groupset with the power meter already in the crank, the ICS Carbon Evo one-piece carbon cockpit, and BMC’s own CR 40 tubeless-ready carbon wheels.

Same 01 Pro Carbon frameset, same race geometry and same Impec Lab engineering as the rest of the SLR 01 range — 7.6 kg as pictured in size 54, with Aerocore frame shaping and TCC Race compliance. The Aerocore bottle cages and a Garmin/Wahoo/GoPro computer mount are in the box.

Who it is for

Riders who want a genuine SLR 01 for climbing and fast group riding, with wireless shifting and power data included rather than added later. Jebel Hafeet, Jebel Jais, Al Qudra laps and UAE race weekends. If you were weighing up the SIX and the FOUR, the FIVE is the one that gets you a one-piece cockpit and a power meter without stepping up to Dura-Ace money.

What makes it fast

Force AXS, power meter included

A full SRAM Force AXS 2×12 with a single-sided power meter built into the crank. Wireless shifting, a 48-35T chainset and a 10-36T cassette — and training data from the first ride, with nothing to buy afterwards.

ICS Carbon Evo cockpit

A one-piece carbon bar and stem, not an alloy two-piece. Cables disappear into the frame, the front end is stiffer under a sprint, and the 8° flare gives you more control in the drops.

Aerocore Design

The down tube and seat tube are shaped around a pair of superlight carbon bottle cages, supplied in the box. Air flows over bike and bottles as one surface, so the bike is faster with the bottles in.

TCC Race compliance

Slim, tuned seat stays and an Advanced Carbon aero seatpost let the rear end absorb rough tarmac vertically while the bottom bracket stays stiff — comfort that does not cost you watts.

Sizing

BMC builds the Teammachine SLR 01 in six sizes (47, 51, 54, 56, 58, 61). Sizes 47–51 use a 48 mm fork offset and a 0 mm seatpost offset; sizes 54–61 use 43 mm and 10 mm.
