The FastTT 2.1 Triathlon Aero Bar is the bar FastTT calls the most popular in triathlon. It is hand-laid carbon fibre for strength, rigidity and long-term durability, and FastTT tests it to loads well beyond the ISO 4210 safety standard.
FastTT says the 2.1 is 17.3 watts faster than standard arm cups and extensions and 4.2 watts faster than its original 2.0, validated in the University of Auckland wind tunnel. The ergonomics are built for the longest bike legs: tall elbow flares, moisture-wicking elbow pads that stay secure on the hottest days, an EVA extension pad and a non-slip bar-end wrap, which matters when you are sweating through an Ironman 70.3 bike leg in the UAE.
Before you order
- Shifters not included. This is the Shimano Di2 / SRAM Clics version. It works with electronic shifters only, not mechanical ones. Older Di2 shifters with the cable exiting from the side need modifying.
- Mounting: FastTT’s bolt-and-ride system fits mono-riser, twin-post and 31.8 mm round bar set-ups. Bar mounting brackets are included for FastTT angled risers; other brands’ mounting systems need FastTT’s Reversible Extender Brackets (not included).
- Size: FastTT makes S, M, L and XL; this listing offers S, L and XL in matt black. The right size matters for speed, so send us your arm and position details and we will help.

Adjustability
Wide/narrow and forward/back adjustment gives an approximate set-up width of 190 mm to 320 mm, depending on bar position, and you can angle the extensions up to 40° inward or outward for your preferred hand and elbow position. FastTT’s wind-tunnel testing suggests the 2.1 is fastest at about 25°, but it varies between athletes.

Are shifters included?
No. This is the Shimano Di2 / SRAM Clics version and shifters are sold separately.
Can I use mechanical shifters?
No. FastTT says the 2.1 works with Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo electronic shifters only.
Will it fit my bike?
