The FastTT Tri BTA Bottle Aero Cone puts a pointed aero nose in front of your between-the-arms (BTA) water bottle. FastTT says the shape was independently tested to save 4 watts, and the hollow front doubles as a pocket for used gel wrappers.

A round bottle between your aero bars meets the wind with a flat, blunt end. The FastTT Tri BTA Bottle Aero Cone sits ahead of the bottle and gives it a pointed nose. FastTT says the shape was independently tested to save 4 watts. This is FastTT’s updated design, made for standard 63–65 mm cages, so an ordinary bottle becomes a smoother torpedo shape.
The front of the cone is hollow, so you have somewhere to push used gel wrappers mid-race instead of stuffing them into your suit. That helps you avoid littering penalties on race day, and keeps your pockets clear on long sessions at the Al Qudra cycle track or Nad Al Sheba.

- Cage size: FastTT says the cone fits all standard 63–65 mm bottle cages. Narrower, wider or unusually shaped cages are not covered.

Fitting
In FastTT’s photos the cone’s slotted tail sits beneath the bottle cage, with the cone ahead of the bottle. FastTT does not publish fitting instructions on its product page, so if you are unsure how it will sit on your bars, send us a photo of your cockpit and we will check it with you before you order.

What is the front pocket for?
