The woom BEAM Bike Lights are a front and rear LED set made for kids’ bikes: bright, rechargeable, weatherproof and simple enough for a child to use. woom designs them for children aged 3 and up, so they are seen on an evening ride or on a dusty, hazy school run.
The white front light has two modes: maximum brightness (30 lux) for dark paths and an energy-saving low beam (10 lux) for daytime or longer rides. Both lights fix to the bike with a silicone strap, with no tools, and switch themselves off after four minutes without movement, so a forgotten light doesn’t drain its battery.
Good to know before you order
- In the box: white front light, red rear light and a USB-C charging cable.
- Run time: front up to 6 hours on low beam or about 2.2 hours on max; rear up to 6 hours.
- Fitting: silicone straps, no tools. woom says the front light can go on the handlebar or on the frame if a basket is fitted.
