Barzo – The XC Tire for Mixed Terrain

For pushing yourself. Whether in dry, wet or changing conditions, the versatile and reliable Barzo from Vittoria supports mountain bikers in exploring their local Trail system, regardless of the type of terrain. Thanks to the high-performance tread design, the Cross Country tire is just as ready for rocks and roots as it is for soft, loamy soil or hard ground.

In the XC Trail version, the Tubeless Ready folding tire combines the graphene-reinforced 4C rubber compound with a lightweight, flexible and abrasion-resistant nylon carcass. The 120 tpi carcass reinforced on the center strip and sidewalls significantly increases durability and puncture resistance to ensure not only maximum longevity but also a place on the podium.

While the complex graphene-rubber composition in combination with the alternating center lugs ensures fast rolling, the Moto-style shoulder lugs offer plenty of bite, especially when cornering. The continuous sipe structure in turn increases the grip under lateral load so that a constant speed can be maintained in any terrain.

4C Compound | In order to minimize rolling resistance and better withstand punctures, the rubber compound is infused with graphene. With the help of its special properties, the material not only effectively fills the gaps between the rubber molecules, but also creates a reinforced structure that is lighter, more efficient and also more durable. For the ultimate grip, the 4C version uses an additional graphene compound in the edge area of the tread in addition to the basic composition on the surface and the two separate compositions in the shoulder area.

Graphene 2.0 | The G2.0 rubber compound surpasses Vittoria’s original Graphene technology in every respect. The many years of experience enable a noticeable increase in performance in the areas of speed, grip in wet conditions, durability and puncture resistance.

XC-Trail Reinforced Casing | This reinforced racing carcass combines the durable and flexible 120 tpi nylon construction with additional protection on the sidewalls. This not only provides a little extra puncture protection, but also improves responsiveness and reduces noise – for a smoother Trail feel when things get rough in Cross Country use.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
