Shimano Deore BB-MT501 bottom bracket for frames with BSA thread

The Shimano BB-MT501 is a bottom bracket with a sleeve made of synthetic material designed to fit a 24 mm axle crankset into a frame with a BSA bearing. With the enclosed spacers, it is suitable for shell width of both 73 mm and 68 mm. Apart from Deore, Shimano recommends the BB-MT501 for the cranksets of the ZEE and Alivio series as well as for numerous no-group models from the MTB and touring sector. It features an optimised seal design that extends durability. Steel bearings ensure smooth rotation. The bearing cups are made of anodised aluminium. In combination with a corresponding crankset, this bottom bracket and its Hollowtech II technology ensures stability and efficiency with every pedal rotation.
