The IPFP Pro is IPFP’s race shoe: a 14K full-carbon sole built for zero flex, an adaptive TPU upper that contours to the foot, and two ETIE aluminium dials that tension the forefoot and midfoot independently. At 239 g per shoe (EU 40, IPFP’s figure) it is made for criteriums, road races and hard training. IPFP, founded by former professional riders, builds it on a wider last with more instep room.

Here it comes in White / Silver (EU 37–45.5) and White / Gold (EU 42–44) — the same shoe, different dial colour. Laser-perforated ventilation keeps air moving on hot mornings at Al Qudra, Nad Al Sheba or Hudayriyat, and the asymmetric heel cup and anti-slip lining keep the heel down in out-of-the-saddle sprints.

Choose your size

  • Measure your foot length (heel to longest toe, standing) and compare it with IPFP’s chart below.
  • IPFP’s advice: true to size for most riders; if you normally wear narrow European shoes, go one size down. The wider forefoot and higher instep suit riders who find European race shoes tight.
  • Sizes on this page: White / Silver EU 37–45.5 and White / Gold EU 42–44. IPFP makes EU 36–46 and a Black / Gold version — ask us.
  • Cleats are sold separately — standard 3-bolt road cleats such as Shimano SPD-SL (SM-SH11, SM-SH12) or Look Keo.

What makes it work

IPFP Pro road shoe with two independent ETIE aluminium dials for forefoot and midfoot, White / Silver

Two ETIE aluminium dials

Independent tension for the instep and forefoot — lock in for a sprint, ease off for a long ride, on the move.

IPFP Pro road cycling shoe from below: 14K full-carbon sole with 3-bolt cleat mount, White / Silver dial

14K full-carbon sole

A specialised 14K carbon layup that resists torsional flex, so power goes into the pedals rather than the shoe.

Adaptive TPU upper

Elastic TPU mesh conforms to the foot for a seamless, glove-like fit, with laser-drilled perforations for airflow.

Who it is for

  • Road racers and criterium riders who want a stiff carbon sole and a precise dial fit.
  • Fast group and sportive riders on the Al Qudra and Nad Al Sheba loops who want a light race shoe.
  • Riders with wider feet or a high instep who find narrow European race shoes uncomfortable.
  • Indoor riders: IPFP rates it for smart-trainer sessions such as Zwift.

Full specifications are listed in the Information tab.

Specifications, weight and size chart are IPFP’s (ipfp.cc), cross-checked with IPFP retailer Probike (Thailand). The weight is from pre-production samples. The White / Gold photo is IPFP’s studio shot; the other photos show the White / Silver version.

Questions people ask

Which cleats and pedals do they take?

Standard 3-bolt road cleats — Shimano SPD-SL, Look Keo and other major brands. Cleats are sold separately.

How do IPFP shoes fit?

True to size for most riders. They are built on a wider last with more instep room; if you usually wear narrow European shoes, IPFP recommends one size down.

What is the difference between White / Silver and White / Gold?

Only the dial colour. Both are the same IPFP Pro with white uppers and two ETIE aluminium dials.

Can I walk in them?

Like all road race shoes, walking is limited — walk on your heels off the bike, and use cleat covers to protect the cleats.

Are they good for indoor training?

Yes — IPFP says they work well for smart-trainer riding such as Zwift, and the perforated upper helps in a warm room.

How do I clean them?

Wipe with a damp cloth after rides; for deeper cleaning use mild soap and water and let them air-dry away from direct sun. Do not machine-wash.
