IPFP MTB Cycling Shoes in White / Silver: a carbon-soled cross-country and trail shoe with a 14K carbon outsole reinforced with T800 carbon, an elastic TPU and mesh upper and two ETIE aluminium dials.
2-bolt MTB cleat channel (SPD-type). EU 43, 43.5 and 44 — check IPFP’s size chart in the description.
The IPFP MTB Cycling Shoes are a carbon-soled shoe for cross-country, trail and endurance mountain biking. IPFP’s own MTB outsole uses a 14K carbon sole with T800 carbon reinforcement and a 14-grade stiffness rating for direct power on climbs and sprints, an elastic TPU and mesh upper wraps the foot, and two ETIE aluminium dials adjust the fit with one hand. This pair is the White / Silver dial version.
On UAE trails — Hatta, Mushrif Park, the Al Qudra MTB loops — the breathable mesh and anti-odour lining matter as much as the stiffness: they help the shoe stay comfortable through long, hot efforts, and the upper flexes enough to push the bike up a rocky section on foot.
Before you buy
- Cleats: the sole has a 2-bolt MTB cleat channel for SPD-type cleats (such as Shimano SM-SH51) and SPD pedals — not 3-bolt road cleats.
- Sizes on this page: EU 43, 43.5 and 44. IPFP’s size chart is below — compare your foot length before you order.
- Colour: white upper with silver aluminium dials. IPFP also makes this shoe with gold dials; that version is not on this page.
- Weight: IPFP has not published a weight for the MTB shoe.
What makes it work
- MTB-specific carbon outsole — IPFP’s self-developed sole, 14K carbon with T800 carbon reinforcement, keeps flex to a minimum for efficient power transfer, with a tread made for grip on rocky trails, loose ground and muddy climbs.
- Elastic TPU and mesh upper — a supportive TPU structure with breathable mesh for a secure, wrapped fit and airflow, flexible enough for hike-a-bike sections.
- Heel-locking structure — holds the heel in place on rough descents, so the foot stays planted and no power is wasted.
- ETIE aluminium dials — two dials for quick, one-handed micro-adjustment that stay locked through trail vibration and impacts.
- Anti-odour lining — an imported lining that helps inhibit odour-causing bacteria after long, hard rides.

Care
After a dusty or sweaty ride, open both dials, take out the insole and let the shoes air-dry in the shade — not in direct sun or a hot car, which is hard on glues and plastics. Brush dried mud off the outsole and cleat channel, and check the cleat bolts from time to time.
Who it is for
- Cross-country and trail riders who want a stiff carbon sole for racing and hard training.
- Endurance and marathon MTB riders who need a secure heel and quick on-the-move adjustment.
- Riders moving up from a nylon-soled MTB shoe who want more power transfer.
Full specifications are listed in the Information tab.
Specifications and size chart are IPFP’s, as published by IPFP retailer Probike (Thailand). IPFP has not published a weight for this shoe, and its 14-grade stiffness is IPFP’s own scale, so it cannot be compared directly with other brands’ ratings. The 2-bolt cleat channel is visible on IPFP’s sole photos.
Questions people ask
Which cleats and pedals do these take?
The outsole has a 2-bolt MTB cleat channel, so they take SPD-type cleats such as Shimano SM-SH51 and work with SPD-compatible pedals. They are not designed for 3-bolt road cleats.
How do I choose my size?
Measure your foot length and compare it with the length column in IPFP’s chart above. If you are between sizes, or your feet are wide, try both sizes at our shop before you order.
How stiff is the sole?
IPFP rates its MTB outsole 14 on its own stiffness scale, with a 14K carbon sole reinforced with T800 carbon. Each brand uses its own scale, so treat it as “very stiff, race-oriented” rather than a direct comparison.
Can I walk in them?
The TPU and mesh upper is designed to flex for hike-a-bike sections, but the stiff carbon sole is built for pedalling — they are not meant for long walks.
What is the difference between the silver and gold versions?
Only the dial colour: IPFP makes the shoe with white uppers and either silver or gold aluminium dials. This page is the silver-dial version.
