The Panaracer DriverPro is a mountain bike tyre that Panaracer calls a light, fast, all-round performer for multi-condition riding. This 29 × 2.40 version uses Panaracer’s Triple Compound tread, which Panaracer USA specifies for the high demands of enduro riding and racing.
A slightly round profile with specially placed multi-height knobs keeps it rolling quickly in a straight line, while the side lugs dig in through turns and transitions. For UAE riders that means one tyre for the rocky singletrack at Hatta and the faster hardpack loops at Mushrif Park, set up tubeless or with an inner tube.
Check these before you order
- Wheel size: 29-inch wheels only (ETRTO 60-622). Check the size printed on your current tyre’s sidewall. It will not fit 27.5″ (650B) wheels.
- Width and clearance: 2.40″ (60 mm) wide. Make sure your frame and fork have room for a 2.4″ tyre.
- Tubeless: tubeless compatible, so it needs a tubeless-ready rim, a tubeless valve and sealant such as Stan’s Original Tubeless Sealant. You can also run it with a 29″ inner tube rated for 2.40″.
- Pressure: maximum 52 PSI (360 kPa). Never go above the tyre’s or your rim’s maximum.

Triple Compound tread for enduro
Panaracer makes the 29 × 2.40 DriverPro in its Triple Compound version (code ZF2924TC-DV-B). Panaracer USA describes the compound as made to withstand the high demands of enduro riding and racing, and lists a Puncture Resistant Shield across the DriverPro range.
Folding bead, tubeless compatible
The folding aramid bead lets the tyre fold for transport and storage, and Panaracer puts its weight at 850 g. Mount it tubeless with sealant on a tubeless-ready rim, or fit an inner tube if you prefer.
What to fit it with
Use Panaracer tyre levers to get the old tyre off and the new one on, add Stan’s tubeless sealant for a tubeless setup, and carry a compact pump such as the Dynamic Turblo electric mini pump to top up pressure on the trail. Want a wider 2.60″ tyre? Look at the Panaracer Aliso and Panaracer Romero.

The 850 g weight and the 52 PSI maximum are Panaracer’s figures for this size. Panaracer does not publish a casing TPI or a minimum pressure for the 29 × 2.40 DriverPro, so neither is listed. The Puncture Resistant Shield is listed by Panaracer USA for the DriverPro range, not per size.

Will it fit my bike?
It fits 29-inch wheels (ETRTO 60-622). Check that your frame and fork have clearance for a 2.40″ (60 mm) tyre. It does not fit 27.5″ or 26″ wheels.
Can I run it tubeless?
Yes. It is tubeless compatible, which means it needs a tubeless-ready rim, a tubeless valve and sealant, such as Stan’s Original Tubeless Sealant.
Can I use an inner tube?
Yes. Choose a 29-inch tube whose size range includes 2.40″. Message us and we will match one for you.
What pressure should I run?
Panaracer gives a maximum of 52 PSI (360 kPa) and does not publish a minimum. The right pressure depends on your weight, rim width and terrain; never go above the tyre’s or the rim’s maximum.
