Hubs
Ursus is an Italian bicycle company based in Rosà, a small town in the north of Italy. With almost 50 years of experience in development and production, they have built up a comprehensive portfolio of bicycle components. All components are developed in-house, manufactured on modern CNC machines and tested to ensure consistently high quality.
The Ursus RD50 is the right choice for anyone looking for a comparatively light and stiff hub. This is achieved by using 7075 aluminum and a 15 mm axle. The choice of large bearings with a good LLU/LLB seal and an additional splash guard in front of the bearings ensures a long service life with minimal maintenance.

Rims
As the successor to the World Runner 25, it has been technically adapted to the modern inner widths of gravel bikes and now comes with a stable 25 mm. This makes the rim the perfect choice if you are looking for a stable, light and stiff aluminum rim for your gravel adventures. Of course, this rim is designed for tubeless use and has an asymmetrical rim profile, which enables a more even spoke angle. This optimization of the spoke angle has a number of advantages. The tension on both sides can be better aligned, which is beneficial to the durability of the spokes and the wheel as a whole. The normally direction-dependent lateral stiffness is also equalized, making the wheel more stable.

Wheel construction at R2-Bike

Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire assembly process, great importance is attached to ensuring that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to offer a lifetime guarantee against spoke breakage as long as it is not caused by force.

You will receive a universal wheel bag for all common sizes.
You will receive a replacement spoke with nipple in all required spoke lengths so that you can repair the wheel quickly after an accident.
You will receive a free initial inspection of the wheel, where the resulting work is completely free of charge. Only shipping costs are incurred.
You get a crash replacement promise: If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild it once. We grant a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge for the material.
