The Shimano FC-M510-1 1 x 12-speed crank with 177 mm Q-factor, 52 mm chainline and 135 / 142 / 148 mm O.L.D stands for highest drive efficiency. It offers optimum power transmission and maximum speed for the new system, which only use 1 chainring.

The group-free crankset at DEORE level comes in single-only (1×12) configuration for drivetrain simplicity. It features the same Dynamic Chain Engagement+ technology as XTR, DEORE XT and SLX cranksets, which with its narrow/wide tooth profile is key to the improved chain retention, smoothness and quietness of the drivetrain.
