Shimano 105 Di2 ST-R7170 right lever + BR-R7170 rear flat mount hydraulic brake, 1700 mm hose (IR7170DRRDSC170E).
- Wireless 12-speed Di2 shifting
- 10% wider pad clearance, reach adjust
- Mineral oil; rotor sold separately
This is the right lever and rear brake from Shimano’s 12-speed 105 Di2 R7100 group: an ST-R7170 dual control lever paired with a BR-R7170 flat mount hydraulic caliper on a 1700 mm hose. The right lever shifts the rear derailleur and works the rear brake.
The lever shifts wirelessly, so only the brake hose runs to the frame. Shimano gave the caliper 10% more pad clearance than before to reduce rotor rub, and the lever reach adjusts so riders with smaller hands can brake comfortably from the drops.
Check these before you order
- 105 Di2 (12-speed) only. The shift buttons connect wirelessly to a Shimano 12-speed Di2 system — they do not work with mechanical derailleurs.
- Flat mount rear caliper — needs a flat mount frame. Rotor sold separately.
- Shimano mineral oil brake — never DOT fluid. The lever runs on 2 × CR1632 coin cells.
- Hose length 1700 mm; the workshop trims it to fit your bike.
Fitting means routing and bleeding the hose and pairing the lever in the E-TUBE app — our Dubai workshop can do it.
Who it is for
- 105 Di2 riders replacing a crash-damaged right lever or rear brake
- Building up a 105 Di2 road or endurance bike
