The Enduro MR 24371 LLB is a replacement bottom bracket bearing for Trek BB90 frames. In a BB90 frame the bearings press straight into the bottom bracket shell, which is often made from a material softer than steel, and with use the bearing seat can wear slightly oversize. Enduro makes this bearing 0.1 mm larger on the outside to take up that wear, so it sits tight in the shell again.

Its 24 mm bore suits Shimano 24 mm cranksets and the non-drive side of SRAM GXP cranks. Enduro builds it with high-carbon chromium steel races, full-fill grade 10 balls and dual-lip seals running in a micro-groove, a labyrinth that keeps out the dust and sand a bottom bracket picks up on rides from Al Qudra to Hatta.

Check these before you order

  • Frame: made for Trek BB90, where the bearings sit directly in the frame. For any other bottom bracket standard, send us your frame model first.
  • Crankset: with a Shimano 24 mm crankset both sides take this bearing. With SRAM GXP it goes on the non-drive side only; the drive side needs Enduro’s MR 22371 (22 mm bore), so ask us for it.
  • One bearing: this is a single bearing. A BB90 bottom bracket has one on each side, so order two for a full set with Shimano cranks.
  • Your old bearing: it should read 24 mm bore, 37 mm outside and 7 mm wide.

Not sure? Send a photo of your frame or old bearing on WhatsApp +971 50 254 5363.

Why 37.1 mm?

A standard 24 × 37 × 7 mm bearing can sit loose in a BB90 shell that has worn over the years. The extra 0.1 mm on Enduro’s MR 24371 is there to compensate for that slight wear. It is meant for a seat that is worn, not damaged: if the shell is cracked or badly worn, have a workshop look at the frame first.

Fitting it

BB90 bearings are pressed in, so use a bearing press with drifts that push on the outer race and keep the bearing square to the shell. Remove the old bearings, clean the seat and press each new bearing in fully. If you don’t have the tools, a good bike workshop in Dubai or Abu Dhabi can fit them for you. Doing a full bottom bracket service? We also stock Dynamic Galli Grease Pro.

Who it is for

  • Trek owners with a BB90 frame whose bottom bracket creaks, feels rough, or whose old bearings sit loose.
  • Riders running Shimano 24 mm or SRAM GXP cranks in a BB90 frame.
  • Workshops servicing Trek road bikes.

Bearing size, materials, seals, load rating and weight are listed in the Information tab.

All bearing data is from Enduro. The Weight row at the top of the Information tab is the boxed shipping weight; Enduro gives the bearing itself as 31.1 g.

Questions people ask

Will it fit my bike?

It is made for Trek BB90 frames. Check your old bearing: 24 mm bore, 37 mm outside, 7 mm wide. For other bottom bracket standards, message us your frame model before you order.

Why is it 37.1 mm and not 37 mm?

Enduro makes it 0.1 mm oversized so it fits tightly in BB90 shells where the bearing seat has worn slightly with use.

How many do I need?

This listing is one bearing. With a Shimano 24 mm crankset you need two, one per side. With SRAM GXP you need one of these for the non-drive side and Enduro’s MR 22371 for the drive side.

Does it work with other crank spindles?

Only with 24 mm: Shimano 24 mm cranksets and the non-drive side of SRAM GXP. Cranks with a different spindle size need a different bearing; ask us and we will check.

Can I fit it myself?

Yes, if you have a bearing press and the right drifts. The bearing presses straight into the frame, so it must go in square. Otherwise a bike workshop can fit it for you.
