The IPFP One is a carbon-soled road cycling shoe with a roomier fit. Its 12K carbon composite sole is stiff for efficient pedalling, and IPFP tuned in a little compliance so long rides stay comfortable. The perforated microfibre upper has an anti-odour lining and closes with FITGO micro-adjust dials and a forefoot strap.
IPFP was founded by former professional cyclists, and they built the One on a wider last with extra instep room. It suits riders whose feet feel pinched in narrow race shoes. At 238 g per shoe (EU 42), it works for group rides, sportives, long base miles and indoor sessions on the trainer.
Choose your size
- Measure your foot from heel to longest toe, standing, then pick the size whose foot length is closest: EU 39 = 252 mm · 40 = 259 · 41 = 265 · 42 = 272 · 44 = 285 · 45 = 292 · 46 = 299 mm.
- Wider fit: wider forefoot and higher instep, designed for Asian feet. True to size for most riders; if you normally wear narrow European race shoes, IPFP suggests one size down.
- Sizes on this page: White, EU 39, 40, 41, 42, 44, 45 and 46. IPFP also makes the One in Black and in EU 36–46 — ask us about other sizes.
- Cleats are not included. The sole takes standard 3-bolt road cleats: Shimano SM-SH11 SPD-SL cleats or Look Keo Grip cleats.

FITGO dial closure
Micro-adjust dials and a forefoot strap let you fine-tune tension on the move and keep your heel from slipping in sprints.
12K carbon sole
Stiff 12K carbon composite for direct power transfer, with a standard 3-bolt mount for SPD-SL, Look and similar road cleats.
Roomier fit
A wider last and extra instep clearance reduce pressure points. The perforated microfibre upper helps air move through.
238 g per shoe
IPFP quotes 238 g for one EU 42 shoe, so there is little weight to lift on every pedal stroke.

Specifications are from IPFP (ipfp.cc). Weight is IPFP’s figure for one EU 42 shoe; retailers note it was measured on pre-production samples, so production shoes may differ slightly. IPFP’s spec panel describes the FITGO system as a single rotary closure, while the shoe pictured has two FITGO dials and a forefoot strap. IPFP does not publish a stiffness index or stack height. Size chart figures are rounded to the nearest millimetre.
Questions people ask
Does the IPFP One run true to size?
Yes, for most riders. It is built with a wider forefoot and higher instep. If you usually wear narrow European race shoes, IPFP suggests going one size down. Measure your foot length and compare it with the size chart above.
Are cleats included?
No. The One takes standard 3-bolt road cleats, such as Shimano SM-SH11 SPD-SL cleats or Look Keo Grip cleats.
Will it work with 2-bolt SPD (MTB) pedals?
IPFP lists the One for 3-bolt road cleats only. For 2-bolt SPD pedals you need a mountain bike or gravel shoe — ask us and we will suggest one.
Can I walk in them?
Only short distances, as with any carbon road shoe. Walk on your heels off the bike to protect the cleats and the sole.
Can I use them on an indoor trainer?
Yes. IPFP lists the One as suitable for smart-trainer riding such as Zwift.
How do I clean them?
Wipe with a damp cloth, use mild soap for deeper cleaning and let them air dry out of direct sun. Do not machine wash.
