Shimano S-PHYRE SH-RC910, Shimano’s flagship road racing shoe, with a carbon hollow core sole for Shimano’s lowest stack height, two BOA® Li2F dials and the roomier SHIMANO DYNALAST 2.0 fit.
- Carbon hollow core sole (stiffness 12), 3-bolt road cleats
- Blue or White (Standard fit), White Wide (Wide fit)
- EU 38–47; cleats sold separately
The Shimano S-PHYRE SH-RC910 is the next generation of Shimano’s flagship road racing shoe, developed with WorldTour riders alongside Shimano’s new SPD-SLR pedal platform. Its new carbon hollow core sole gives the lowest stack height Shimano has ever made, so your foot sits closer to the pedal and every watt goes straight into the drivetrain.
A premium Japanese microfiber upper keeps the shoe light, breathable and seamless, two BOA® Li2F dials with textile laces give precise micro-adjustment, and a reinforced carbon heel structure stops the foot twisting under full power. The new SHIMANO DYNALAST 2.0 last adds a wider forefoot and less toe spring for comfort on long days, from race efforts at Al Qudra to the climb up Jebel Hafeet.
Choose your size and fit
- Two fits here: Blue (EU 38–46.5) and White (EU 38–46) are the Standard fit. White Wide is the Wide fit (EU 41–47). Shimano says the new DYNALAST 2.0 Wide is much roomier than the old Wide, so most riders will be happy in Standard.
- Foot length to EU size (Shimano chart): 38 · 23.8 cm · 39 · 24.5 cm · 40 · 25.2 cm · 41 · 25.8 cm · 42 · 26.5 cm · 43 · 27.2 cm · 44 · 27.8 cm · 45 · 28.5 cm · 46 · 29.2 cm · 47 · 29.8 cm. Half sizes sit in between (for example 42.5 · 26.9 cm).
- Coming from older Shimano shoes? DYNALAST 2.0 has more room at the toes. Shimano says riders who sized up for extra width may prefer half a size smaller.
- Cleats not included: the sole takes standard 3-bolt road cleats, such as Shimano SM-SH11 SPD-SL cleats, or SPD-SLR cleats for Shimano’s new SPD-SLR pedals.

What makes it work
Carbon hollow core sole
Shimano’s lowest stack height ever brings your foot closer to the pedal axle for a more connected feel and more direct power transfer.
Dual BOA® Li2F dials
Two low-profile dials and textile laces give fine adjustment and a secure wrap around the whole foot.
Carbon heel structure
A reinforced carbon heel limits twisting, so the shoe stays stable when you sprint or climb out of the saddle.
Japanese microfiber upper
A light, breathable and seamless upper with new perforations, in S-PHYRE Blue or White.
Who it is for
- Road racers who want Shimano’s top shoe: the stiffest sole and lowest stack in the range.
- Fast riders who want race-level stiffness with a roomier, more comfortable toe box.
- Riders with wider feet: choose White Wide.
Pair them with Shimano road pedals such as the 105 PD-R7000 or PD-R550. Want the same fit and dials with a standard carbon sole? See the SH-RC810.
Shoe, sole and size details are listed in the Information tab.
Not on Shimano’s product pages: the stiffness number and the shoe weight. The figures in the Information tab (stiffness 12, about 238 g per shoe in EU 43) come from Shimano dealers. The Weight row at the top of the Information tab is the boxed shipping weight.
Questions people ask
Which size should I order?
Measure your foot length in cm and use Shimano’s chart: 40 · 25.2 cm, 41 · 25.8 cm, 42 · 26.5 cm, 43 · 27.2 cm, 44 · 27.8 cm, 45 · 28.5 cm, 46 · 29.2 cm. The new DYNALAST 2.0 last has more toe room, so if you sized up in older Shimano shoes, half a size smaller may fit better. Message us if you are unsure.
What is the difference between White and White Wide?
Same shoe and colour, different last. White is the Standard fit (EU 38–46); White Wide uses the DYNALAST 2.0 Wide fit for wider feet (EU 41–47). Blue comes in the Standard fit.
Which cleats and pedals do they take?
Standard 3-bolt road cleats. Use Shimano SPD-SL cleats such as the SM-SH11 with SPD-SL pedals, or Shimano’s new SPD-SLR cleats with SPD-SLR pedals (PD-R9300, PD-R8200), which the RC910 was designed around. SPD-SLR cleats do not fit SPD-SL pedals. Cleats are not included.
S-PHYRE RC910 or RC810?
Both use DYNALAST 2.0 and two BOA® Li2F dials. The RC910 adds the carbon hollow core sole with Shimano’s lowest stack height, a Japanese microfiber upper and a carbon heel structure (stiffness 12 vs 11, per dealers).
What is the product code?
Shimano ESHRC910MCB01 (Blue, Standard), ESHRC910MCW01 S (White, Standard) and ESHRC910MCW01 E (White, Wide); the size follows, for example ESHRC910MCB01S42500 is Blue EU 42.5.
