The Shimano Deore XT Di2 RD-M8250-GS is the mid-cage, wireless 12-speed rear derailleur from Shimano’s Deore XT Di2 group. Paired with a compact 9–45T cassette it gives a 500% gear range, and its slim design adds ground clearance on rocky trails.
SHADOW ES, Shimano’s slimmer evolution of the SHADOW RD+ clutch, keeps the chain under control, and the new Automatic Impact Recovery returns the derailleur to position after a knock. The battery sits protected inside the derailleur and comes out easily for charging.

- Battery not included. It needs a Shimano BT-DN320 Di2 battery, sold separately.
- Medium (GS) cage: max sprocket 45T, 36T capacity. For 10–51T cassettes, the SGS version is needed.
- Wireless Di2: needs a compatible Shimano Di2 shift switch.
