Details of Stan’s NoTubes Flow MK4
The patented BST Asymmetric shape of the Flow MK4 rim provides the most reliable tubeless seal. Durable 6069 alloy and a reinforced spoke bed combine with the offset bore of the asymmetric design to create an incredibly durable wheel that provides added confidence on every ride. Strength and serviceability have long been priorities of any Stan’s wheel, and the Flow MK4 wheel takes those priorities even further than ever before. The asymmetrical rim design allows the use of a single spoke length for both the front and rear wheel. As with all Stan’s wheels, traditional J-Bend spokes and lacing are used for strength, ride quality and ease of maintenance.
Every detail of the M-Pulse hub has been designed to systematically eliminate weak points found in other designs. The 17mm axles are made of 7075 aluminum and roll on Enduro brand bearings. The entire hub is also shielded, which means that no bearing seal is visible, which provides excellent protection in all conditions. Apart from the strength and speed of engagement, the M-Pulse hubs have an adjustable preload that allows a huge reduction in drag for less resistance and more speed.
