Shimano Alivio RD-M3100-SGS Shadow RD Rear Derailleur – long – 2/3×9-speed
The Shimano Alivio RD-M3100-SGS rear derailleur is perfect for 2×9- as well as 3×9-speed MTB riding. Its low profile Shadow RD design avoids not only damage from rocks, but also improves shifting performance. The Top Normal rear derailleur accepts cassettes with a maximum range of 11 to 36 teeth. The guide and tension pulley of the long SGS cage feature 11 teeth each.

With their sophisticated technology, Shimano Shadow RD rear derailleurs are especially intended for more aggressive riding style. Their super low profile design carries many benefits. Thanks to the low profile and a single tension construction, the derailleur does not hit the chain stay in rough riding conditions. The result is smooth and silent performance.
