The Shimano Deore RD-M6200-SGS is the long-cage 12-speed rear derailleur from Shimano’s new mechanical Deore line. It runs Hyperglide+ 12-speed cassettes up to 10–51T, for a 510% gear range on a single front ring.
The SHADOW RD+ clutch adds chain tension so the chain stays quiet and on the ring over rough ground, and steel parts in the cage make it tougher. Shimano designed the M6200 and M7200 mechanical parts to look and perform like the electronic Deore Di2 group, for riders who like the simplicity of a cable.
