Oakley Frogskins™ Range XL OO9503-03: transparent stonewash/clear O Matter™ frame with Prizm™ Deep Water Polarized lenses. Category 3, 12% light transmission. The classic ’80s Frogskins shape in XL (138 mm) for larger heads, with an Unobtainium® nosepad.
The Oakley Frogskins™ Range XL brings back Oakley’s classic ’80s Frogskins look in a bigger frame. Oakley calls it “bolder and larger than ever”: the same round shape with modern Oakley features, engineered to fit larger heads.
This is the OO9503-03: a Transparent Stonewash/Clear frame that fades from blue at the brow to clear at the bottom, with Prizm™ Deep Water Polarized lenses. The Category 3 lens lets 12% of the light through, and being polarised it cuts reflected glare off the sea, wet roads and car windscreens. A good pair for the beach at JBR, a day on a boat or the café after a ride.

Yes. The OO9503-03 has Oakley’s Prizm™ Deep Water Polarized lenses.
What light are they for?
Bright sun. The lens is Category 3 with 12% light transmission and a rose base, and Oakley rates it for bright light. Do not wear them at night or in low light.
Will they fit my face?
Oakley lists the Frogskins Range XL as size XL (138 mm) with a Regular – Universal Fit, made for larger heads. Oakley retailers give a 58 mm lens and a 17 mm bridge. If you have a low nose bridge, ask us about the Low Bridge Fit (A) version.
Why does my phone screen look dark through them?
That is normal with polarised lenses. Some phone, car and bike-computer screens can look dark or patchy at certain angles; tilt the screen and it clears.
Can I ride in them?
You can, and the Unobtainium® nosepad helps them stay put when you sweat. Frogskins is a lifestyle frame, so for long or fast rides a sport frame such as the Oakley Sutro Lite is the better pick.
