The Dynamic Drivetrain Detailing Brush is a small brush with tough nylon bristles for the narrowest parts of the drivetrain: chain, cassette and pulley wheels. Dynamic also recommends it for cleaning rim brakes.
The Dynamic Drivetrain Detailing Brush is a small, angled brush for the dirtiest part of the bike: the chain, the cassette and the jockey (pulley) wheels. Its compact head gets into the narrowest gaps of the drivetrain, and the tough nylon bristles scrub out old grease and grime.
In the UAE, dust and sand stick to chain lube on every ride, from the Al Qudra track to the trails at Hatta. A clean drivetrain shifts better, runs quieter and wears out more slowly, and this brush makes that a quick job after every wash.
How to use it
- Apply a degreaser to the chain, cassette and crankset.
- Scrub the whole drivetrain with the Drivetrain Detailing Brush, working into the cassette gaps and around the jockey wheels.
- Rinse the degreaser and grime away, dry the chain and re-lube it.
Pro tip from Dynamic: thanks to its size it is also ideal for cleaning rim brakes.
