Designed and developed by Repente thanks to the suggestions of professional athletes and the many enthusiasts who use Repente Quasar saddles on and off-road. It is the first Repente with a steel rail instead of a carbon one .

Every detail has been taken care of with the utmost attention both in the design phase and in the manufacturing process of the product. Which respects the “Made in Italy” philosophy that has always inspired Repente.

The shape of the Quasar saddle is characterized by the 142 mm seat of “flat” inspiration. And by the central opening, inserted in a large channel for the discharge of perineal pressure . The large rear support surface has been modeled according to the anatomical and ergonomic criteria that represent a peculiar feature of all Repente saddles. The “close fit” effect produced by this particular shape makes the seat comfortable without the use of thick layers of padding and allows you to immediately find the most effective position in the saddle.

The hull is in PA12 reinforced with long carbon fibers ( LCF technology ), the same solution adopted by Repente to increase the resistance of the Prime 2.0 , Spyd 2.0 and Artax GL models . The padding is in polyurethane, while a water-based non-slip polyurethane microfiber was chosen for the upholstery.

The rail was made of Aisi Stainless Steel. A type of steel with extremely high mechanical properties. Repente has further strengthened it by subjecting it to a particular process called Shot 304. Which hardens the surface of the metal and makes it more resistant.
