The Oakley Sphaera™ Slash is a single-lens sport sunglass with a Matte Vapor O Matter™ frame and a Prizm™ Road Jade lens (Oakley code OO9499-0436). Oakley calls it the result of decades of research with athletes: an alternative “slash” lens shape helps reduce cheek crash, and the wide field of view and light O Matter™ frame are made for sport.
A vent at the front of the frame lets air through, and Unobtainium® nosepads and molded-in earsocks grip when wet, with a hat or a helmet. That makes it a good pair for bright early-morning loops at the Al Qudra cycle track or the climb up Jebel Hafeet.

The lower edge of the lens is cut away on each side. Oakley designed this “slash” shape to help reduce cheek crash while keeping a wide field of view.

Will they work with my helmet?
